I'm finally done with my version 2 Bow-Blade (Starseeker) that took 2 weeks to make, and it can transform (though, when it transforms to a sword I couldn't get one part to move)! Everything stays in one piece when it transforms, it took me about few hours to figure it out how to transform it. Sadly, I couldn't figure the transformation for my sis's weapon for Lightning :(

I was going to use wood for the entire bow-blade (sorry Dyire for making you do some research), but my father couldn't help me much with the cutting. So I went with the pink insulation foam that was around $8. I used a plethora of materials such as: brass plated cup hooks, screw eyes, craft foam, wood, hot glue sticks (as the nut and bolt lol), and I reused some old accessories from my version 1 bow-blade. I'll write more about the construction in my journal soon if time permits.

All of this was made around $20 - yup, I'm cheap :D

When it transforms, do you have to take out some parts and assemble them in a different way or do you just move the parts (open)?

I have to move parts to open it.

Thanks! So do you take them out of the bowsword? ;D

If you look at my journal you could see that the strings hold the limbs closed and open. The limbs easily move with a nut and bolt.
